This is kind of a random cross-section of stuff. I've taken so many classes over the years, or have simply investigated so many personal pursuits, I will just lump them all together here.

I find that taking classes at folk schools really feeds my soul. I can experience a new craft, and learn some new skills while relaxing in a creative environment. The classes are generally set up so that you leave with at least one complete project also. I'd encourage anyone interested in learning how to make things by hand to look into folk schools across the country.
