JEWELRY

My jewelry work is from a long time ago, but it was a formative period in my artistic explorations, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work in the artform.

I secured a job (thanks to my step sister) as an apprentice at Creative Goldsmiths in a now defunct mall in Maryland. I worked in a small loft space with three other goldsmiths. I took to the craft fairly quickly, and was allowed to do some custom work for customers before I moved out to the midwest.

Much of the work I did was repair jobs (including fixing the band on a solid gold Rolex watch), and many of the photos of the work I did are long gone, but I was able to scrape up a few images of some of the custom projects.
